Hi everyone, I just wanted to begin a thread for all UT Health SON students who are applying for Summer 2017. I didn't see a thread created for this term yet. I look forward to getting to know all of you as we begin this long journey. Feel free to share anything regarding the application process and/or ask any questions that you may have!

We dont upload those 2, they will appear once you go and the company sends results. In other words, its uploaded automatically. ;) One less thing for us to do....this is like a never ending checklist lol

I know! This is so many "to do's" pre-enrollment.

i already feel like a nurse student. Lol

are you going to the admission day on the 24th?

how many orientations are we suppose to have?

Lol ikr!! Yes I will be there on the 24th, you? Thats the only one I know about so far....but Im sure there is probably one more event before we start in May. I called to try and get an exact date for when we start summer semester and noone could tell me. Hopefully someone will know soon.

Im not going - I cannot afford taking many days off of work. I've been taking few days off lately because of titers, dr appointments, and drug test. I am almost done w titers. Are you?

i just need to figure out how to upload them on evalue, it's a bit confusing.

do i need to pre register for the 24th event?

if you go, keep us posted.

Yes, there's a registration. Did you not get the email? It was like an e-vite. I think there's admit day and then orientation. One is apparently about the program in general, and the other is more about the classes we'll be taking. Also, Summer semester starts the 22nd of May!

There's good info on the FB page about all of this stuff, I would consider joining if you have a Facebook account!

I already tried logging in with myUTH user and pass and it said error. Was there an email sent about evalue? What did it say?

Yes, there's a registration. Did you not get the email? It was like an e-vite. I think there's admit day and then orientation. One is apparently about the program in general, and the other is more about the classes we'll be taking. Also, Summer semester starts the 22nd of May!

There's good info on the FB page about all of this stuff, I would consider joining if you have a Facebook account!

Did they send out an email about orientation? I only recieved one about admitted students day.

Admin day is Friday 3/24/17 from 8-2pm. I think this is same as orientation. We stay entire day and we purchase our clinicals bag for $115 I was told....plus can purchase other stuff....but not sure exactly what. Can't wait to meet everyone!

Admitted students day is NOT orientation. At Admit day you get more information on registering for classes, financial aid, parking, and you will get to speak to other students too about their experiences in nursing school (I will be there!).

I would wait on the clinical bag and books. A lot of upperclassmen will be selling their books after finals on May 6th. At orientation (which is a week before school starts) they will end up giving away 2 bags for free.

Thats a bummer but I totally understand. It has been completely time consuming. Guess we need to get used to that...lol. I am done with everything I think except my cpr class tomorrow.

I scanned everything as an individual pdf then uploaded it one by one in designated section. It it confusing but just follow the instructions from the New Student links. I think you do need to pre-register....I did. My friend said be ready to spend at minimum $125. Its all adding up and we haven't even started yet lol
