Hi everyone, I just wanted to begin a thread for all UT Health SON students who are applying for Summer 2017. I didn't see a thread created for this term yet. I look forward to getting to know all of you as we begin this long journey. Feel free to share anything regarding the application process and/or ask any questions that you may have!

If you can get the ID earlier than orientation, it would be better. You get the ID at the tower building, not the actual school. There will be alot of people trying to get their ID's after orientation.

Or Junior League of Houston offers free classes if they haven't filled up!

I need urgent help!!! I just took my HESi exam. I need to send my scores to UTHealth school of nursing in Houston, but I don't know exactly how they the want me to send my scores, via email or mail. Please if anyone could help me I would really appreciated it!

If you didn't use UT health code, then you need to feel out a form on elsvier with the information on where you want your scores sent. You email that form to the email address provided in the directions to the form, and elsvier will send it for you. It took a little more than a week for mine to be received by UT health after sending the form.

@kk28 does UTH accept the junior league of houston classes?? or will they give you problems because its not from a paid website?

I'm sure they will I don't see why they wouldn't & there were people who got accepted for the Spring term and took their class there but i couldn't take my class with them bc of my schedule so took it somewhere else

Admin day is Friday 3/24/17 from 8-2pm. I think this is same as orientation. We stay entire day and we purchase our clinicals bag for $115 I was told....plus can purchase other stuff....but not sure exactly what. Can't wait to meet everyone!

I didn't received an email about Evalue yet. I called and they keep transferring me from place to place. Does anyone know what I can do?

Does anyone know if we have to do CPR class/certification now or prior to uploading immunizations to Evalue or can we upload immunizations and later submit the cpr??

I'm not sure why you didn't get email but try logging on Evalue with your myuth user id and password. Good luck :)
