I am in the works of completeing my last pre-req...Physiology sooo far its been my fav. class its better than anatomy. GPA 3.5 microbio and physio not inlcuded. (I wish I didn't suck at comp. 1 I got a C in that class you guys!)
I emailed Debbie (she's the head hancho of the program. They are very good at replying like a minute later to your emails :typing and also very good at answering all phone calls) I asked about how I should go about registering for the TEAS entrance exam...she said on the same day you do your interview you also take the TEAS exam!
WHAT??? is what I thought to myself sooo...I basically have till the month of April to study for that sucker!
I also have a hold on my account because of the background check. I'm worried too because it should be done if there are other people who went a few weeks after us and has already been cleared. I will be calling on Monday to find out what I can do to find out where my stuff is. Maybe it was never sent out by L-1 after our fingerprinting??
Are you a new student? I was wondering b/c you said you log on your account that you could log on and see your holds. How did you get the username and password information?
For the L1 Background Check, I did it in College Station/Bryan Tx.

Yep, I'm a new student. The school sent me a one page letter this week with my badge number, login information, and instructions on how to set my password. In fact, I got the exact same letter twice this week. This letter also listed my email account for school. I have no idea why I would be sent the same letter twice, but I'd love to hear back about the background check soon.
yea, i got that letter twice this week also. I'm still waiting for the "large" package they said they were sending out soon. Oh and i did receive a card stating my background check was clear about a week after doing it.
I got the email letter twice, too. I haven't received any large packets yet. I didn't hear anything back regarding my background being cleared I better call them tomorrow.
Does anyone know if you have to wait to finish your CPR class in order to register? I am scheduled to take one mid July. I have all my prereqs and shots done.

I called the school about my background check that I did on May 1st and they still haven't heard anything back about it. They said to give it a few more weeks because they're really backed up. I don't know how they can be backed up if people who went weeks after I did, got their background check cleared before mine. I know there is nothing wrong with it because I was in the Air Force and had a secret security clearance, so it should have been completed in no time.
Well, I decided to call the BON and they told me that they got part of it on the third, they're just waiting on the other part. The lady I spoke to said that she would put in a request to find out the status on the other part of it. So I decided to call L-1 and they told me that it was sent to the BON and there was nothing wrong with it, so I guess I'll call the BON back later this week to see what is going on with it.

Just google the name followed with San Antonio and you should find most of their numbers!
They are all pretty much gated and on the nicer more modern looking apartments in the medical center. All of them are pretty much a 5 minute drive to school. The only one not gated is the Abbey I think.
Hello! I have question: When should I go get my parking permit and picture id? I think I read on the school website that I should do it before I come in for new student orientation. Do I have to wait until I'm registered for class to get those things done? I'm still waiting to hear back about my missing background check, so I can't register yet.
Yeah you won't be able to get your ID or Parking permit until your able to register for classes. Yes, I got my ID and permit like 3 or 4 days before orientation.
