Hey guys, just wanted to begin a thread for all UT Health SON hopefuls who are applying for Spring 2016. I look forward to getting to know all of you as we begin to play what seems to be the longest waiting game ever! I am more than confident that each and every one of us will be receiving our acceptance letters around this same time next year:) Feel free to share anything regarding the application process and/or ask any questions that you may have!

So i still have not heard ANYTHING and my status still says complete. I was finally able to talk to someone who said that they mailed me a response on November 16th, but I never received anything so they are mailing their response again. My question is, was there anyone who was accepted only via mail or did all of you who were accepted receive an email? I figure I was rejected for Spring 2016, but I am looking for some hope anyway. Glad I applied for Summer 2016.

Geez I'm so sorry yall have had to wait this long. I don't understand why they keep beating around the bush and can't just tell you your admission status to give you some peace of mind.

I was accepted by both email and by mail. Hope this helps... Sorry for the stress that comes with waiting. It can really suck.

Hello everyone,

I am applying to UTHSC for summer 2016. I would like to know how the meeting times for classes are organized. I'm trying to plan ahead if I'm accepted (my scores and grades are great, so I'm hoping!) Specifically, will I be in class everyday of the week? On the days that I am in class, will it be all day? I know schedules change a lot and your schedule will be different from what mine may be - but I'll be working the first two weeks that classes meet. I have sick days to use and will use them for the days we are in class, I just need to know how many I have to save (potentially up to 10). I'm changing careers from teaching to nursing. I'll be retiring from the classroom at the end of this school year and want to spend my saved days so that in the end, I won't have any left in the bank.

I would advise you ask this of the Summer 2015 class as I believe summer class structure is a little different from Spring and Fall.
