UTHSC Nursing Spring 2016

Hey guys, just wanted to begin a thread for all UT Health SON hopefuls who are applying for Spring 2016. I look forward to getting to know all of you as we begin to play what seems to be the longest waiting game ever! I am more than confident that each and every one of us will be receiving our acceptance letters around this same time next year:) Feel free to share anything regarding the application process and/or ask any questions that you may have!

I still haven't received a complete application status or transcript evaluation. That seems odd considering I submitted application in August??

I couldn't breathe when I saw the email!!! I was SOO disappointed when it wasn't the email I was expecting lol. Hopefully we will get our acceptance letter soon!!!!!

My heart skipped a beat as well when I saw the email from UTHSC... Lol!!! Oh well, everyone is right they definitely have all of us on our toes!! Hopefully we get some kind of news soon !!!!!! :nailbiting:

-Did everyone who applied receive the survey email?

Or was it to those whom they are interested in?

-Just wondering if they are about to send acceptance letters and just wanted to see who to send military info to...

I got the email for the military survey and freaked out!!! The wait kills you inside lol

It appears to have been a mass email survey thing so don't freak out. I'm sure everyone got it. But if you haven't seen it yet be sure to check your spam box. :-)

But I have gotten 4 transcript evaluations so I hope that means I'm in the running. Did anyone else NOT receive the email?

A little off topic from the big question of "HAS ANYONE BEEN ACCEPTED YET," but let's assume all of us get to be in one of those 120 available seats (mentioned earlier in the thread), I am curious as to how many parents are out there that have applied. I've never done full-time school before with a child, only part-time prerequisites, so am a bit nervous at the idea of how to do well. Hoping to have a few other mom/dad friends in the program, again assuming we all get in. Fingers crossed someone will hear something soon, but in the meantime any parent-students out there?
