This thread is dedicated to the applicants of UT Houston's Spring 2012 application period. I've seen various threads posted throughout the discussion forum regarding the upcoming application period, but they are scattered and hard to keep track of. Maybe if we keep our discussion in one place it will be easier for us all to follow :)
I'm applying with the following stats:
Pre-req GPA: 3.21
Science GPA: 3.66
Overall GPA: 2.81
I know my chances of getting in aren't great with my overall GPA, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed anyway! Please post your stats, your thoughts, your experiences, ideas and opinions here:)
I haven't heard anything yet either and in the same boat ,as many of you started college in 96' and was not the student I am today for many reason as life has it. I'm an ''F' and hope it's nor over yet for UTHSC . I wish the best of luck to all...we will all be nurses at some point-the journey to do so has already begun!!

I'm seeing all these people with last names A-K getting acepted or having their statuses change, but I haven't heard anything and I'm getting really worried. I think I have excellent stats, and I thought my chances of getting in were really good. The only bad thing about my stats is the I made a 750 on the critical thinking section. Does anyone have some encouraging words for me, or maybe advice? I've called them and all they tell me is that they won't send out official acceptance letters until nov. 15th. Is there anything on UTLink I should check besides my holds and status? I only have the CRP and immunizations holds so far... this has been so frustrating

I'm kind of in the same boat. I have a 3.7 pre-req, 4.0 science, and a prior bachelor's degree. I thought my chances were pretty good also but I haven't heard anything either. However, I did get in to UTMB, which was my 1st choice school, and I'm 90% sure that's where I will be going. Did you apply anywhere else?
