This thread is dedicated to the applicants of UT Houston's Spring 2012 application period. I've seen various threads posted throughout the discussion forum regarding the upcoming application period, but they are scattered and hard to keep track of. Maybe if we keep our discussion in one place it will be easier for us all to follow :)
I'm applying with the following stats:
Pre-req GPA: 3.21
Science GPA: 3.66
Overall GPA: 2.81
I know my chances of getting in aren't great with my overall GPA, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed anyway! Please post your stats, your thoughts, your experiences, ideas and opinions here:)
LOL. I was at Jester IV in Richmond. I quit when I was pregnant with twins in 2005. Now that my kids are all in school, I thought about going back. But siince I got accepted to nursing school, it would be impossible to work 12 hour shifts and go to school full time.
I think I come in near last in the name category. I'm a "W". Worse yet, I married down. My maiden name was a "P." Something to consider for those of you who are considering marriage. :)

My maiden name started with a "C" and now I'm an "S"- arghh! I wonder if we will all find out today or if the later letters in the alphabet will spill into tomorrow...Let's hope they're able to get through everyone today!!
