This thread is dedicated to the applicants of UT Houston's Spring 2012 application period. I've seen various threads posted throughout the discussion forum regarding the upcoming application period, but they are scattered and hard to keep track of. Maybe if we keep our discussion in one place it will be easier for us all to follow :)
I'm applying with the following stats:
Pre-req GPA: 3.21
Science GPA: 3.66
Overall GPA: 2.81
I know my chances of getting in aren't great with my overall GPA, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed anyway! Please post your stats, your thoughts, your experiences, ideas and opinions here:)
Hi guys I really need you guy's help, I have started a new thread because I am a little undecided as to apply for the RT program at San Jac while waiting to apply for the BSN Program. I would really like it if you guys could give me some advice,opinions, or things I should consider. Here is the link:
I think instead of going to UTHSC to get my BSN, I might apply to UTA for computer programming. I've noticed by applying to 4 schools that there's a big need for somebody who can actually design an effective application process tracking software...
So I just recently got accepted to UTMB, but I also applied to UTHSCH's program. I really wish they'd hurry up becuase I have to accept admission to UTMB by Oct 26th. I know they won't send out acceptance letters until November, but do you think they'll update our UTlink sometime in the near future?
I'm honestly really torn between choosing UTMB and UTHSC because I really like both schools, but if I don't hear from UTHSC soon, I have to accept UTMB.
i am in the same situation as you are but i went ahead and accepted for utmb ...... of course if i got into ut houston i would be super excited because i live in the houston area and i would not have to commute to galveston but ..... it feels good knowing i got in somewhere :)

Ah yeah, actually, I that's how it would be for me if I accepted UTHSC. I live in Galveston so UTMB is the more practical choice. It'll save me money which is why I'll probably end up accepting admittance anyway. I was just going to wait a little to see if UTHSC decides to say anything, though it seems unlikely until november. The only reason why I'd like to go to UTHSC is to get off the island and get a change of scenery.

as far as i know, we can fax it, mail it, or drop it off in person. The fax number is at the top of the immunizations record page.
