This thread is dedicated to the applicants of UT Houston's Spring 2012 application period. I've seen various threads posted throughout the discussion forum regarding the upcoming application period, but they are scattered and hard to keep track of. Maybe if we keep our discussion in one place it will be easier for us all to follow :)
I'm applying with the following stats:
Pre-req GPA: 3.21
Science GPA: 3.66
Overall GPA: 2.81
I know my chances of getting in aren't great with my overall GPA, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed anyway! Please post your stats, your thoughts, your experiences, ideas and opinions here:)
I got the letter in the mail today... and i pretty much gave up hope a while back when everyone else hold changed. And the closure feels sooooo dang good!! No more fried nerves!!! Any chance you applied anywhere else???
Nope, no reasons why...just your basic rejection. Good luck to those accepted and most of all to those JN the waiting list!! As I mentioned before my stats were comparable to some accepted and even better in some cases. I will be attending TWU and I am sooo pumped! Good luck to all and see ya on the flip side!!!!

I'm worried now!!! I'm applying to the accelerated program (summer 2012). My stats are pretty good- 91 on HESI. App my gpas are above 3.5 But I am half Hispanic:uhoh21:
Should I have left that out??? lol
It's illegal for them to use that as a deciding factor, plus some of the admission couselors were ethnic! ????
