Hi everyone! I did not find a thread for fall 2015 UTHSC applicants so I decided to create one, sorry if there is already one. I am going to be applying to Prairie View A&M, UTHSC, and Lone Star College (with UTHSC being my first choice). My current stats are:
Science GPA: 4.0
Overall GPA: 3.9
I am taking my Hesi test this Saturday. I'm fairly nervous about it so I'm studying non-stop until it's time to take the test.
I'm looking forward to talking to everyone else that is applying! :)
That's what I was thinking... But new group of applicants... New range of scores. My gap is only in the 3.2 range and I made decent scores on hesi except for anatomy (which I made both A's in AP 1and 2)I got a 70 ... Half of my questions they asked me were fetal related .. R u kidding me?!? What luck. My teachers never taught it and I briefly studied it but did not focus on it. Meh we shall see what happens. God has a plan for us all its in his hands now
Going through some of these forums, I have read some individuals get accepted with gpas in that area. I took the hesi a week ago but wasn't really happy with my critical thinking score. I did apply though, let's just hope for the best. :)
Ya I have seen people get accepted with a 3.5gpa and people with a 4.0gpa get denied. I don't think there is any way to guess if we are going to get in.
All we can do is hope and pray for the best.......and wait.....
I agree! It is what it is at this point but I am also going to apply to the lonestar cyfair program when applications open up in case I don t get into this one. You have to eventually get accepted right? Lol
It's a good idea to apply to more than 1 or 2 schools because some of the schools will put greater emphasis on the HESI test while other schools put a greater emphasis on GPA.
