Hi everyone! I did not find a thread for fall 2015 UTHSC applicants so I decided to create one, sorry if there is already one. I am going to be applying to Prairie View A&M, UTHSC, and Lone Star College (with UTHSC being my first choice). My current stats are:
Science GPA: 4.0
Overall GPA: 3.9
I am taking my Hesi test this Saturday. I'm fairly nervous about it so I'm studying non-stop until it's time to take the test.
I'm looking forward to talking to everyone else that is applying! :)
[h=3]Review and Notification[/h]The School of Nursing's Baccalaureate Council makes the final selection. Applicants will be evaluated on overall academic performance, performance in prerequisites and sciences courses, and HESI A2 Entrance Exam. Notifications are expected to be delivered on or around the following dates:
Summer and Fall Admission: April 15
Spring Admission: November 15
HOPE THIS HELPS!
I just called them, they have not done my transcript evaluation yet. The lady who answered the phone send email to that department, and she said it will take about two weeks for them to process it. I saw that some of the summer hopefuls have already gotten an acceptance email. I cannot wait for hours to start being sent out! :)

I think some of those summer hopefuls that received acceptance emails may have been on the waiting list. Thats usually how it works.
I'm sorry, I know this may be a really dumb question but what do you all mean by transcript evaluation?
They mail you an evaluation of the classes you have taken and the classes they accept. Also, they calculate the gpa you have for the nursing prereqs and science prereqs. It lets you know what classes you might need or where to improve your gpa. No such thing as a dumb question:yes:.

No. I got my eval about two weeks after I applied.
