  1. I applied for FNP Summer 2020 and received a call on 12/4 asking me to do a phone interview on 12/5 for Spring 2020 admission. I received an email on 12/6 stating that I had been accepted into the program. I'm not sure what is going on with your application. They seemed very unorganized when I did speak with them though.
  2. Relax and enjoy the next few months leading up to school! No need to prepare really, but start your vaccinations as soon as possible because the series can take a while.
  3. The email stated that we had to accept our offer by July 2nd, so I would expect to see the next wave of offers go out around July 3rd hopefully. Fingers crossed for you guys!
  4. For those who have been accepted to the Woodlands campus, I have created a Facebook group called "SHSU Woodlands Cohort 9".
  5. I got an actual acceptance email this morning. Just give it a few days and keep checking. Good luck everyone!!!
  6. Check your Sam emails...just got my acceptance to the woodlands location!
  7. I called to confirm and everybody there sounded confused. I don't know if it is an acceptance or not lol. I looked it up by clicking the SHSU nursing program application link, logged on with my username, and then the status just shows "accepted". I'll give it a few days to figure out what's going on, but he said we should know by the end of the week.
  8. Just received a call from the school and I had to submit proof of enrollment in the math statistics in order for my application to be considered. I originally thought my Psych Statistics would satisfy the requirement, so just a heads up for anybody that didn't take the math stats. My status just changed from "pending review" to "accepted".
  9. I wonder if anybody on here applied to the woodlands. Maybe there are a lot less applications to that campus because everybody was worried about the class size and their chances of getting in.
  10. Dwlord, did you apply to the main campus or The Woodlands?
  11. Hey everyone! I applied to the program for Fall 2015, but I was rejected. I had a 3.6 prereq GPA and 3.75 science, so hoping it will end up being a 3.73 prereq and 4.0 science when I finish retaking classes this summer. The wait is brutal, but it flies by! For those looking for CT study guides, I got a 950 and used online resources and looked at triage questions online before taking the HESI. I think I'm going to retake that as well since I made an 88 on it last application period. Good luck to everyone!!!
  12. Jmr102, our stats are very similar and I just applied today! Good luck!
  13. No, but somebody said they had talked to admissions and all of the acceptance and waitlist emails had gone out yesterday. I didn't receive either of those, so I'm only assuming a denial letter is on the way.
  14. Mail came today and no rejection letter yet and no change on the website. Does anybody know how important it is to the school that we not retake classes? I didn't get in, but I'm so nervous to retake classes this semester in case they really frown on it.
  15. I emailed to see if we would still know by April 15th and no response was sent back as of now. I have heard from several students that they send the majority of acceptances out in the first wave and then send out a few more acceptances when students fail to secure their spot within the 10 days.
