Hi everyone! I did not find a thread for fall 2015 UTHSC applicants so I decided to create one, sorry if there is already one. I am going to be applying to Prairie View A&M, UTHSC, and Lone Star College (with UTHSC being my first choice). My current stats are:
Science GPA: 4.0
Overall GPA: 3.9
I am taking my Hesi test this Saturday. I'm fairly nervous about it so I'm studying non-stop until it's time to take the test.

No, it would not be a problem since they have already received your scores. I am not sure about the transcripts issue. I think you will be okay though.
Does the postmark date thing count for electronic transcripts as well? I recently talked to a tech and she confirmed that my transcript was received on Jan 9th, but my To-Do List still shows that the transcript has not been inputted. Since the deadline has already passed, does this render my application incomplete or is it okay because they received before the deadline? I'm just worried about that right now
I called and spoke to someone in admissions today and because mine are still in the mail, as long as it is post marked before the 15th it will be fine, so I will be ok. I would think it would be the same thing for electronic sending. You can always call and ask to double check! I know this is such a stressful time, but it will all be worth it in the end. :)
You're fine. As long as they received it before the deadline (which you confirmed), you're good. They just take their time updating the myUT to do list thing.
i really don't think you have anything to worry about since they received it on the 9th. They are probably just backed up with all the last minute applications that were probably sent in.
If you are currently taking any classes the transcript will remain on your To-Do list. They said that they only remove it from the list if you have no in progress classes.
@bnmatlock Sorry for the late reply. It was our first week of school and I have been busy studying. To answer your question, I received two course evaluations and I never repeated any courses. I had my associates in arts so when I applied, I had a complete status. My GPA was 3.8 and 3.75 GPA (1 B in general Chem). I believe they look at a number of different factors. Overall GPA, Science GPA, how many courses you retook, how much course load you took per semester, if you're core complete, any honors on transcript, HESI score overall, HESI A&P and Math score separately. But don't compare your stats to others, it'll drive you crazy. People with a 4.0 and high 90 in HESI didn't get in for Spring 2015 versus someone like me who had an okay GPA and HESI got accepted. Summertime, did you retake or are you retaking any classes?
--last semester I applied even though the requirements were to have a minimum GPA as well as a C or better in all of your classes I had all the required pre-reqs but I had a D in sociology so I applied anyways and still made it on the alternates list and during that time last semester I re took sociology and got an A so then I just recently applied
