Hi everyone! I did not find a thread for fall 2015 UTHSC applicants so I decided to create one, sorry if there is already one. I am going to be applying to Prairie View A&M, UTHSC, and Lone Star College (with UTHSC being my first choice). My current stats are:
Science GPA: 4.0
Overall GPA: 3.9
I am taking my Hesi test this Saturday. I'm fairly nervous about it so I'm studying non-stop until it's time to take the test.
I'm looking forward to talking to everyone else that is applying! :)

Hey everyone! I was just notified from my current school that they won't send an "in progress" transcript. Is this going to be an issue as far as my application to uthsc is concerned?? I was excited until this. Now I'm freaking out!
I can't believe the deadline is on Friday - just tried calling the Registrar's office but no answer :\ I wanted to make sure that they received my transcripts!

Critical Thinking: 840
When do we receive an evaluation of our transcripts in the mail? I have a BA- I'm just curious which classes they will choose as the 5 "elective" credits. I would assume that they take the credits from the highest grades, right?

-Reading: 86%
-Grammer: 88%

-A&P: 76% (I thought this was my best section too!!)
-Math: 98%

Im just wondering what you guys think my chances of getting accepted are. My critical thinking and A&P scores are terrible and I feel like that is going to disqualify me for acceptance.
I was just accepted for spring 2015 and followed those post all the way up to my acceptance. DO NOT freak yourself out over other peoples scores or try to compare yourself. There is no rhyme or reason to acceptance or denials. Just relax and before long you'll receive an email from the school.
I took my HESI a few days ago and it still says I need to complete it on my to do list. I called yesterday and they said they have been received but still inputting the January HESI scores. Would that be a problem since everything is due today?
Also, I have transcripts being mailed from my old school in Florida and not sure when they will get there, they were supposed to be sent overnight, but since it is being delivered to a PO box, they cant have them sent over night, only regular mail.
I was told as long as they are postmarked before the 15th I am fine, has anyone else heard that?
I know I am cutting it close getting everything sent in but I didn't decide to apply till late.
I have been trying to call the school, but the recording says the office is closed. How can an office be closed on the day that everything is due?
