Hi everyone! I did not find a thread for fall 2015 UTHSC applicants so I decided to create one, sorry if there is already one. I am going to be applying to Prairie View A&M, UTHSC, and Lone Star College (with UTHSC being my first choice). My current stats are:
Science GPA: 4.0
Overall GPA: 3.9
I am taking my Hesi test this Saturday. I'm fairly nervous about it so I'm studying non-stop until it's time to take the test.
I'm looking forward to talking to everyone else that is applying! :)
When I talked to admissions yesterday the lady said all of the emails have been sent out. They have sent denial, wait list, and acceptance emails, so Idk whats going on. She said if we didn't receive an email then we should be getting a letter in the mail soon regarding their decision. But my status online is still the same, it hasn't changed.
I got denied as well.. That is so saddening... There is obviously nothing I can retake I only have 2 Bs on my pre reqs for psychology and government.. Other than that all As.. I retook my hesi already since I wanted to improve it from the first time because I wasn't satisfied.. I don't think I can apply again since my application will look the Same..
I'm not sure how you all feel about going for RN from a community college, BUT I know San Jacinto College (North Campus) is still taking applications until tomorrow: April 17th 4:00 PM. I will warn you, there is a LOT to do (immunizations AND titers, CPR card specifically from AHA, drug testing, etc.) And since many of you are finishing or have finished the pre-reqs for UTHSC, you should have all the pre-reqs done for San Jac already; you'll most likely finish your RN in 3 semesters. If you wish to go back for a BSN, UTHSC offers that program (also 3 semesters). Plus you only go to class on Wednesday of every week :)

Mail came today and no rejection letter yet and no change on the website. Does anybody know how important it is to the school that we not retake classes? I didn't get in, but I'm so nervous to retake classes this semester in case they really frown on it.
