Hi everyone! I did not find a thread for fall 2015 UTHSC applicants so I decided to create one, sorry if there is already one. I am going to be applying to Prairie View A&M, UTHSC, and Lone Star College (with UTHSC being my first choice). My current stats are:
Science GPA: 4.0
Overall GPA: 3.9
I am taking my Hesi test this Saturday. I'm fairly nervous about it so I'm studying non-stop until it's time to take the test.
I'm looking forward to talking to everyone else that is applying! :)
I've not heard back from anything, on email, no status change. But frankly I'm not expecting much. Very likely I've been denied again (I was denied for summer too). I don't know if I should even reapply since it's obvious that they just don't like me lol.. I just wish I knew what it was. I also wish I applied to more schools. Everyone who hasn't shared your stats yet, do you mind posting them? I know it's useless trying to worry about stats but I feel like mine were pretty decent..
@jess92 wow yes those are great stats!! Do you know why you got denied for summer?? I don't understand why they wouldn't want you... My stats are 3.89 overall gpa 4.0 science gpa 810 critical thinking and 90 overall on hesi and I haven't heard anything back.. No email.. No status change..
Congrats to everyone who got in and to those who didn't keep trying I know it's frustrating. I was wait listed for the spring, but I managed to get into the summer program. Ironically, I got an email yesterday that I was wait listed for the fall so I emailed the admissions office to take me off the list. So hopefully the spot goes to someone else. Good luck to everyone.

Ahh... mine are nowhere near as good. This is what I calculated:
Overall: 3.54
Science: ?? (which classes count as science besides AP I&II and micro?)
Overall HESI: 88
CT: 880
I also have a bachelors and masters degree with study abroad (ecology in Switzerland). I think my masters degree is where I really "shined" as an applicant. I didn't take my undergrad very seriously...
