UTHealth Cizik Summer 2021 - BSN

Published

Hello everyone!

I've been looking around for a UTH - Pacesetter BSN forum for Summer 2021; haven't found one so I'm going to start one here! This forum is for anyone applying for or just curious about the Summer 2021 application cycle (deadline Jan 15th, 2020). If anyone has any questions, concerns, worries, or anything they'd like to share during the process then you've found the right place! We're here to help each other out. Best of luck!

Hey everyone. Do you know if you can submit your application without adding your HESI scores? Im taking my test on Monday but I want to apply before I get my scores so I can begin sending transcripts

HI THIS IS MY SECOND TIME REAPPLYING TO UTHEALTH! MY HESI SCORE WAS PRETTY GOOD THE FIRST TIME SO IM USING IT AGAIN THE SECOND TIME APPLYING. DO I NEED TO RESEND MY SCORES OR SHOULD THEY HAVE THEM ALREADY? THANK YOU!

Hi! So I really just want to get a good idea of my chances of getting into the nursing program for the Summer 2021 application period. Here is a score breakdown of everything:

HESI: 85.2 overall

88 grammar

82 reading

94 vocab

80 science

82 math

My GPA is a 3.78 overall with an A in nutrition, anatomy 1 and 2, and Microbiology and a B in chem and functional bio.

@jvaughan yes you can! if you take the HESI under a different school, you have to submit the transcripts right away because elsevier takes 7-10 days to process. but if you are taking it under the school code, you don't have to worry 'because UTHealth will receive it.

@ZZGG if you took the HESI under their school code you don't have to send them 'because UTHealth will get the results. but if you have retaken it under the school code, I think you have to resend them. from what I understood, even though you did good on your previous test, they still want the current score you have. :/

Hi thanks so much! I only have one score! I haven’t retaken iT(: this helped so much thanks !

So I can leave the HESI score section blank and submit the application already? I’m taking it under the school code. I just wanted to submit my application now so I can submit my school transcripts now too

@jvaughan yes you can. that's how I did it. but like I said you have to request to Elsevier and submit the HESI transcript right away 'because it takes 7-10 business days to process.

Okay thank you. I used the school code so they should get them as soon as I take the test and I won’t have to request them. Thanks for the info

@jvaughan NP! Goodluck. :)

Application is due January 15th guys remember to have HESI transcripts and application done with by then! Goodluck to you all

Those are good stats ! It sucks how it is very unpredictable what they accept. And did you take bio and chem HESI ? Cause I think they only look at A&P.
