Hello everyone!
I've been looking around for a UTH - Pacesetter BSN forum for Summer 2021; haven't found one so I'm going to start one here! This forum is for anyone applying for or just curious about the Summer 2021 application cycle (deadline Jan 15th, 2020). If anyone has any questions, concerns, worries, or anything they'd like to share during the process then you've found the right place! We're here to help each other out. Best of luck!

I was supposed to apply to a 12 month program but students put in around 60-80 hours. I simply think I could have a psychological break down if I go over 60 so I decided not to go for a BSN 12 month program.
Not so sure in UT Health, How ever I am currently attending Baylor Traditional and the fast-bacc students do one year and they are drained and some of them get held back and get placed with the traditional because of how hectic the one year program is. It all depends on the person, if they can do exams every week, well that is how it is in baylor for the fast bacc and exam every two weeks for traditional.
Lecture are heavy in fast bacc at Baylor. (one year program)

I can tell you they don't interview... truthfully we don't really know... there are lots of theories, but really who knows... what we do know is HESI scores and GPA make a difference, but they take a wide range and your grades and HESI could be high and people with lower might get in. It's a pretty diverse student group at the school, so that might be taken into account, but who knows. When you apply you put your work history on the application, but whether they even look, I don't know. I'm afraid its hard to give feedback on this question because its not publicly known all the criteria that get taken into account. There is a theory that above a certain point you become eligible and then its random, but I don't think that's actually the case personally.

I applied for fall semester and I got one today

no I don't believe so, its just an evaluation they do to work out if you have the courses or what needs to be completed still.. they then have your GPA calculated...don't read too much into it. Some people who got in didn't actually receive theirs
