Hi everyone! I found this forum last night and figured I would create this for anyone who wants to discuss the pacesetter program for Spring 2021. The application deadline will be here before we know it! I will be taking courses at San Jac this Summer to finish my pre-reqs ( a lot of the unfortunately ). Hope everyone is staying safe and taking this time to prepare as much as possible. I had been volunteering at Methodist but unfortunately that has ceased for now. Post anything you’d like here!

My application is still under review in the portal.
My stats:
GPA: 3.6
Science: 3.3
HESI: 86%
I also got a course evaluation and this is the first time getting one after applying 3 times.

Has anyone who has been waitlisted gotten any notices yet?
Hi,
I'm planning on applying for Fall 2021
I think my GPA is a 4.0. And I got a 89.2 on my HESI. Should I retake it?
Vocab-98
Grammar-98
A&P-84
Math-86
Reading-86
I had a lot of credits from AP and Dual Credit so my GPA is mostly based on the 5 classes I took last semester and my Dual Credits. I took A&P and Chem last semester.

It's hard to say ... I'm in the program now and we don't really know how people are selected.. they say their most important HESI area is A&P... you only get two tries at the HESI... if you can get in the 90s it would probably benefit you with a higher A&P .. but who knows??
Hi!! So I applied for the Summer 2021 pacesetter program and I know some of you in here have been accepted for the previous application pool so I was seeing if you could either tell me if you were accepted with similar stats or if my stats have a good chance of getting in? I'm super nervous so I just wanna get an idea because I know this school is so unpredictable.
Pre Requisite GPA: 3.78
Science GPA: 3.75
HESI: 85.2

As I said before it's hard to say what they use in their selection... if you redid your HESI do you feel you could do better?

I'm still on the waitlist. This is my second time applying. My pre-req GPA is 3.75, science GPA 3.75 also. HESI 88. I received the course evaluation from UT. I have not heard back UT since November 20th, I received an email in regards to the BON background check. I had received my blue card back in July because I had applied to another program.
I know of a few people who have gotten accepted to with high 80's HESI and 3.6 GPA's. I really do think it's a lottery system.
