UTH Cizik School of Nursing Spring 2021 (Pacesetter)

Hi everyone! I found this forum last night and figured I would create this for anyone who wants to discuss the pacesetter program for Spring 2021. The application deadline will be here before we know it! I will be taking courses at San Jac this Summer to finish my pre-reqs ( a lot of the unfortunately ). Hope everyone is staying safe and taking this time to prepare as much as possible. I had been volunteering at Methodist but unfortunately that has ceased for now. Post anything you’d like here!

I got my acceptance this morning. I found out through the portal. Here are my stats:

overall GPA: 3.8

science GPA: 3.6

HESI : 95.5

Im so excited to start!!

Congratulations!! 
Did you get any other form of notification or you just checked the portal and did it state it in the message center?

I clicked on Application status and it shows there! I just received my email as well.

In my cohort there were a number of people with pre-reqs in progress.

I had already completed all my courses/ pre reqs when I applied.

Ahhhhhhhh congrats you guys! Still waiting for an update on my end, but feeling pretty down because my prereq GPA isn't very great, but fingers crossed. To those who got accepted, I know you'll make great nurses :))

If you recall do they only send them out every morning or is it at a random time throughout the day?

I think no official acceptances have been sent, rather the department that does the electronic system is updating it and that's how people are getting an insight. My guess would be it is updated at different times, but I don't actually know.

Two: create a "club" for your cohort by clicking on the Breakroom link in the yellow bar to the left of this page.
