  1. Is it really only 40 people accepted per campus? Now I'm stressing because my score is 7.648 and I feel like that's cutting it close now.... Last fall a 7.5ish was good enough to get people into their last choice, which seemed to be NH. Now I hope that the minimum score doesn't go up much more. I wonder how many people are applying this fall.
  2. For future reference, acceptances went out Tuesday, March 16 (deadline for their fall apps was the 15th). They were sent around 1:00ish I believe, and more around 4:30pm- both on the same day. It didn't appear to be in alphabetical order, and it was a mix of those with finished prereqs and in progress. People were updated through their portals and emails, however some people who received an email did not have their portals updated so this was odd. From what we know, Tuesday seemed to be the only day of acceptances, and waitlists went out Monday the 22nd around 4:50 pm via email. Everything about this round of notifications is so different than the previous semesters, since they only sent out acceptances in one day rather than in waves across 3 days. I hope this helps to those who are applying in the future, good luck to everyone on their nursing journey whether it's with UTH or any other nursing school!
  3. Hi! Does anyone know how it works if I took A&P at a different school where lab and lecture are separate? I got an A in lecture and B in lab, and I'm PRETTY sure it's right if I just plug it into a GPA calc (plus an A in english) and that would be my score out of 4? If that's correct, that + my HESI would give me a 7.508 out of 8, can someone tell me if that's enough to possibly make the cut?
  4. Hi guys, I've already applied for Summer. Really worried because my stats aren't super great thanks to my last semester. I got a 91.2 on the HESI, 3.51 prereq GPA, but 3.44 in science. I am complete with all my prereqs. Hoping for the best!!
  5. nope! it's been super quiet lately, I don't even think anyone's gotten denials yet.
  6. Has anyone been taken off the waitlist yet? Or does anyone know how long it'll take them to start notifying people that they're off the waitlist and/or denied?
  7. I don't think so, haven't heard updates since last Thursday or so
  8. Same ? I've been checking nonstop today. Really losing hope, but still keeping my head high. For everyone else, please keep us updated on any more acceptances and possibly share your stats if you don't mind!
  9. Ahhhhhhhh congrats you guys! Still waiting for an update on my end, but feeling pretty down because my prereq GPA isn't very great, but fingers crossed. To those who got accepted, I know you'll make great nurses :))
  10. Omggg your stats are amazing!! Congrats!! I'll definitely be on the lookout now, fingers tightly crossed
  11. Anyone mind sharing their stats? I'm super nervous about getting in with a prereq GPA of 3.44 and science GPA of 3.5 (only A&P 1 and 2, and chem, microbio is still in the process). I made an A in a&p2 but a B in ap1, and an A- in chem so I'm hoping that'll pull me through. My overall HESI was a 91.2 with a 92 on the A&P section. Everything seems to be good except for my overall GPA so I'm feeling pretty discouraged ://
