Just wanted to start a forum to see if there are any other nursing student applicants for the Fall semester? I just applied, although, I know I will not get a response until beginning of April. I was so excited since I just finished my HESI. I had to retake it since I did not take Vocab. the first time I took it? . Anyways, I really pray I get in for August so I can get started and not need to take any additional classes for other schools. My friend got in for Spring 2019 and she is loving it. I have really been fighting to get here for a VERY LONG TIME
So I was just checking the prerequisite guide again and noticed that for the 6 English credits Literature courses do not qualify. The only English credits I have are the AP tests (3 for Comp & Rhetoric and 3 for Literature). Has anyone asked about this? Do I need to take another English class this Summer?

I'm thinking yes. You should have two comp/rhetoric credits at 3 hrs each to total 6 credits. Your literature could probably fulfill the humanities credit!
Ugh that was me as well. But I specifically remember some professors talking about “saving your W’s because you only get 6”, and that scared me into taking F’s instead of W’s one semester when my car crapped out. Worst decision ever, but I didn’t know any better.
Yes, I understand. Everything that I have learned has been simply from my mistakes. The professors at the time and especially the advisors did not help. Wish it did not happen but better then than now.
Yes! My gut is telling me next week since this weekend is memorial day weekend and the school is probably closed Monday ?

I’ve already been on pins and needles but I think starting tomorrow I’m going to really feel like it can happen at any moment since 2017 they heard I think on the 22nd and last year on the 30th. I don’t think they’ve ever released on a Wednesday right? I think they’ve done like a second wave on Wednesday but never the initial wave?

If they heard on the 30th last year then that was a Wednesday! But it was the Wednesday after the memorial holiday ?
I have it written down in my phone notes as the 23rd (Tuesday, 2017) and the 31th (Thursday, 2018) for the last two Fall cycles. So yeah it could definitely be any day now.

I just went back to the thread and the first person I saw say they got in was on the 31st? I even went back up until the 29th and read from there and still saw that the first person had been accepted on the 31st. Oh and @accionursingbook congratulations on getting into Lonestar!! I promise I’m not stalking you lol just stalking the forums lol.
