UTH Cizik School of Nursing BSN Pacesetter- Fall 2019

Published

Hey everyone?!

Just wanted to start a forum to see if there are any other nursing student applicants for the Fall semester? I just applied, although, I know I will not get a response until beginning of April. I was so excited since I just finished my HESI. I had to retake it since I did not take Vocab. the first time I took it? . Anyways, I really pray I get in for August so I can get started and not need to take any additional classes for other schools. My friend got in for Spring 2019 and she is loving it. I have really been fighting to get here for a VERY LONG TIME

I really can't wait. Good luck to everyone! ?

I noticed the URL for the application status page said “SAD_APPLICANT”, and it was very much an “et tu, link?” moment. XD

Congratulations @accionursingbook that is very exciting. I hope we do find out before then. This decision will let me know what I will do with my Summer and work.

What does that mean exactly?

I have it written down in my phone notes as the 23rd (Tuesday, 2017) and the 31th (Thursday, 2018) for the last two Fall cycles. So yeah it could definitely be any day now.

Got it! I'm definitely leaning towards next Thursday ? But will glady take an answer earlier+

No idea what the actual reason for it is, but I am indeed a sad applicant (hopefully only temporarily).

The wait is extremely hard, because we are living in Korea right now. My husband separates from the military this year, and we are literally waiting to figure out where we are going (and that’s a huge process, as you can imagine). Couple that with the fact that I can only manage part-time work here and it’s excruciatingly interminable.

That was the exact same definition I had in my mind. I am also one sad applicant because of the anxiety.

Wow, you are so far away. I hope it all works for you guys.

We are definitely in a whole other world (and have been for 18 months)! It's 1 am on Thursday here, and it feels like I have to wait extra long for a decision because of the time difference. XD I'm pretty sure I'll get in somewhere (East TN State looks promising if nothing else), but UTH is my dream school. I grew up in Houston and am eager to return. I just know how competitive it is. =/

You guys almost gave me a heart attack lol. This thread has been so quiet and all of a sudden I go to my email and it’s soooo many Allnures notifications lol. I thought the time had come.

Oh no! I'm sorry I am sure that did not feel good. That is exactly how I feel basically everyday until we get the notification for a decision. Then I will be okay

Lol it’s ok! I don’t mind. I’m kinda like somewhere between really ready to find out and scared to find out lol. Plus I’m happy the thread is picking up some steam. Always nice to see what people have to say.

So I just graduated with my BS in health from TAMU. Does anyone know if we need to send in our final transcripts before we get accepted? Like will they be waiting on them?

At this point I don’t believe they will be considering anything other than what you submitted by the deadline to make the decisions so they won’t be waiting for them but if you are accepted they will be expecting to have your final Transcripts before class starts. Now with that being said the application closed on March 15th and I finished some spring classes on May 14th and I submitted those grades as soon as I could. Figure it can’t hurt. Plus you may as well submit them especially if you plan on reapplying again in case you don’t get in (fingers crossed that you do) that way they have all the information they need on you.
