Hi everyone! I figured I'd start a thread for UT Arlington's BSN Spring 2020 applicants!
First off let me start by sharing a few things:
- UTA nursing school acceptance is based off a composite system that consists of your SCIENCE GPA (Anatomy & Phys 1, Anatomy & Phys 2, Microbiology, Chemistry), OVERALL GPA, and Considerations. ??
- also, TEAS scores don't affect your acceptance into the nursing program, unless you don't meet their requirements of course. ? I'm taking mine this Friday so I'll let y'all know how that goes..
also side note: Considerations depend on wether you're applying to the online or on campus. We can only apply to either or..
As of right now, I have 3 considerations:
- military veteran
- 30 hours at UTA
- 3 out of 4 sciences at UTA
I won't know my official science GPA or overall GPA until after this semester ends....

I submited mine on Feb 14. Supposedly the letter was sent out on Feb 27. I called BON again today since the letter was not in the mail. I talked to a nice lady and she sent me the letter via email after scanning it. So I finally got my letter today.

AO BSN. I had a 3.879 general admissions GPA and a science GPA of 3.938. I also got an additional .5 for my bachelor of science in biology. So total 8.317. I am not partnered.

I believe you have a week to get all the documentation in once you are accepted.
