UTA AP BSN Spring 2014

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to start a new thread for those of us applying this May for the Spring 2014 entry into the AP BSN program. I have been working on my prerequisites for the last year and still have about 5 classes left to take. I will also be taking my HESI in May. I am so excited to get the nursing program started, but really nervous as well! I will have to work full time during the program and hope that it will work out. I am currently partnered with Cook Children's. Anyone else out there fixing to apply for Spring 2014 entry?

Has anyone heard anything since they received their acceptance letter. I started the background check and received my confirmation letter but haven't received anything else. I am so anxious about starting this January and just want to make sure I get everything done the correct way.

I got an email today from the administrative assistant that was addresses to everyone accepted in the program. Did you receive that?

Yes I received that a few hours after I posted that question. I'm hoping this means that balls is going to start rolling. I can't wait till November 1st when the online orientation opens up.

I know! I can't wait either! I'm hoping it will answer my long list of questions, lol.

Has anyone received a confirmation from UTA's CON for the background check? If so how long did it take?

I paid on 10/18, UTA received report by 10/22. All communicated through blackboard.

May I ask what area of blackboard? Would it be under "announcements"?

I'm in the online campus and haven't received anything.... When I emailed Ms W I was told that she would put it in blackboard when our orientation opened up.

I am in the online program. I have not seen anything on Bb confirming that my background check was received....I guess we will have to wait until Nov. 1.

I find it a bit nerve-wracking having to wait until after the dead line, what if something went wrong?
