UTA AP BSN Spring 2014

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to start a new thread for those of us applying this May for the Spring 2014 entry into the AP BSN program. I have been working on my prerequisites for the last year and still have about 5 classes left to take. I will also be taking my HESI in May. I am so excited to get the nursing program started, but really nervous as well! I will have to work full time during the program and hope that it will work out. I am currently partnered with Cook Children's. Anyone else out there fixing to apply for Spring 2014 entry?

I have 2 considerations 3.75 science and 3. 3 overall

Hi everyone!

I'm new to the forum. I just want to share my case because I'm so excited right now. I was on a wait list. And today at 4:30 p.m, I received a call form my counselor that the wait list moved up, and I'm next in line. I said, "yes" right away without waiting to finish her sentence. I'm IN for Spring 2014!! First time applicant, not partnered, Science GPA 3.72, over-all GPA 3.64, took 24 units pre-reqs from UTA, and 1 consideration (previous degree).

Great news! Congrats! I'm starting spring 14 too, but on campus.

Yay!! ?Finally! Finally! I got accepted into the UTA AP BSN Spring 2014 Clinical!! I was on the wait list for the Fall 2013 and didn't think I would get accepted once Texas Health pulled out as a Partnered Hospital.

I was also enrolled at TWU & WGU just in case I wait listed again.

How sweet it is to receive my acceptance letter Nov 8th. I believe I've read it minimally 10 times. ?

I was called off the waiting list for the AP BSN Online program for Spring 2014. Does anyone have any information about the program if you are partnered with Cook Children's? Start date, clinicals schedule? Im still waiting for the official acceptance email from the dean.

Congratulations!!!

Lmh1981- I had not heard that! So we should have our clinical schedule by the end of November, or just general information?
