  1. Congratulations! ? Try emailing them before paying for another CNA course. They may be able to accept your CNA certification from 10 years ago. It's worth asking.
  2. Some are online but they still require you to come in for check-offs. Are you located in Dallas?
  3. I called and was told that there is no date that they can provide. I was only told to continue checking my email daily as all correspondence will come via email.
  4. Hi! I applied and was accepted to Baylor’s ADBSN for Fall 2022. I delayed my start until Spring 2023, so if all works out, I’ll be starting with the Spring 2023 cohort.
  5. I called. Didn’t realize that was the general number for TTU and couldn’t figure out what extension to select. Didn’t speak with anyone.
  6. Sounds like the sites may be full and they’re getting ready to send out rejection letters. I’d love to ask this specifically. Do you mind giving me their number? People received admission letters last week and we’ve heard of no other admissions since. I just don’t get this process and I wish they’d be open with us.
  7. Maybe it’s anxiety and stress talking. I’m trying my best to remain optimistic.
  8. Same! I’ve been in healthcare for 15+ years with majority of that time being direct patient care—even to this day. I’ve also been in nursing school before (and did good academically). I just don’t get it.
  9. I think it is finally hitting me that there is a good chance I won’t be accepted. I’ve tried twice now. Things seemed to have went really well in my interview and my grades are all great. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t sad. It’s been a long 2 months. I’ve checked my email every single day and nothing. Now another week has just about flown by with no updates.
  10. What makes you say that? Are all the sites full?
  11. Students have been accepted to every location. I’m just not sure how many per location. It’s hard to get real numbers because this group and other 2023 TTU nursing groups have less than 100 students (there were 500 applicants, per TTU). There are so many students that could’ve been accepted and we wouldn’t know at this time because they’re not in any of the nursing groups.
  12. I’ve balled my eyes out just about everyday. I seems like I’m just waiting on my denial letter. It’s been over 2 months since interviews started. This process—the wait—it’s all tough! Life is literally on hold. I can’t make other plans because of the unknown. I’m trying my best to hold on to the little hope I have left. We’re just here, stuck waiting. Not fair at all!!
  13. Update—(kind of ?): I called earlier and was told applications are still under review and all acceptance/denial letters will go out no later than the end of October (10/31).
  14. I guess we have another day with no answers. ?
