So I'm trying to see anyone is going to apply for UTA's AP BSN program the fall of 2017. I have been following threads and trying to get some information about how this program is set up. I did my application to the school last year for the Fall of this year. I'm trying to knock out my science classes, but I have withdrawal from my biology class 4 times and Im wanting to take my chemistry over the summer. Possibly doing my other 2 sciences with UTA. I haven't taken the Hesi A2, I plan to take that around the Fall. So, I just like us to update with each other and encourage each other to get into the program. I would do my stats, but I haven't taken gotten them yet. As soon as Im finished, I will post them. Everyone is free to post theirs
I just submitted my application for Fall 2017. I was wait listed for Fall 2016, and didn't apply for Spring admission. My pre-requisite GPA is what is really hurting me along with a low score on the Grammer portion of the HESI. I'm applying to a few other schools as well, so hopefully one of them will take a middle aged guy making a career change.
My stats are:
Science GPA - 3.75
Pre-Requisite GPA - 3.25
HESI:
Math - 98
Vocabulary - 98
Reading - 96
Grammer - 86
I have two considerations and am not partnered.
@Brandon. Hesi score doesn't really matter. They only need you to pass 75% or above. I believe you have a good chance to get in. What other schools are you applying to?
I'm also applying to UTMB & UTHealth, which are both on-campus programs. I've looked into TWU, however their program is 2.5 years since they don't require you to complete all non-nursing classes first.

OK. I am also applying to Texas a&m commerce. I applied to UTA online and on campus program. I pray we all get accepted!
Hello everyone! I will have applied for both the Fall 2017 on campus, and Accelerated BSN program. I already have a BSN in nutrition, but am really excited to do nursing. I will be taking intro to nursing and med terms this spring, and just waiting to hear if I will be accepted. I wish everyone the best of luck, and hopefully we will all get in.
Does any one need a POLS 2311 book w/access code. I accidentally ordered two when I took it this semester and I have an extra it came straight from UTA book store it has never been opened and is still in the box the book store sent it in email me at [email protected]

I took the HESI last month, and yes I was able to use the calculator provided. It was tricky though because you have to click on each number and the multiplication and equal sign. I didn't know that and used the 10-key on the keyboard and submitted a wrong answer! I still got a 97 in the math section, but it made me angry!
I was also able to leave the room 3 different times to potty (too much caffeine). I just had to sign in and out each time. This was at UTA.
