UTA AP BSN program Fall 17

Published

So I'm trying to see anyone is going to apply for UTA's AP BSN program the fall of 2017. I have been following threads and trying to get some information about how this program is set up. I did my application to the school last year for the Fall of this year. I'm trying to knock out my science classes, but I have withdrawal from my biology class 4 times and Im wanting to take my chemistry over the summer. Possibly doing my other 2 sciences with UTA. I haven't taken the Hesi A2, I plan to take that around the Fall. So, I just like us to update with each other and encourage each other to get into the program. I would do my stats, but I haven't taken gotten them yet. As soon as Im finished, I will post them. Everyone is free to post theirs

I'm trying to find out HESI info also!

many of you all have submitted your HESI and application. Can anyone answer this?

Question, for the HESI exam, do you get your results printed right away? Or Does the testing center mail the official scores to UTA? Basically how does UTA retrieve the scores? I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything. Thanks!

I took it at UTA. I didn't recieve my scores right away. However, by the time I made it home, they were posted to the account I created to take the exam (Elsevier/EVOLVE, or something like that). Then the following week, they were posted to my UTA account automatically. They tell you this information on the day you take the exam as well.

I just submitted my supplemental application. At the top of the supplemental application, there is a place where you can upload your HESI scores. I think you can also submit it to the Admissions office beforehand, and it'll automatically populate at the top of the supplemental application. If you open the supplemental application (you don't have to submit it right then) it'll give you more instructions/help.

Does anyone know how to upload your hesi scores during the application process if you took it at another college?

I hate that we have to wait until April to find out our status. I'm going to be on pins and needles until then :(

Has everyone submitted the application for Fall 17??

Also, who all is taking Pharm and Patho at MVC? I'm enrolled there now so I'll be taking it! Maybe we can form a study group!

I've applied for the Fall 2017 program. Of course, I won't find out until April whether or not I get in. I have taken the HESI and all my science classes. I just lack 4 of my other classes. I have a 92 HESI score, a 3.75 science GPA and a 3.5 prerequisite GPA. From anyone who has been accepted into the program, what are my chances of getting in??

I talked to my advisor today , and you have a great chance of getting in... sooo don't worry... many students took paths & pharm this semester and failed it, so their GPA's have dropped significantly

I'll be taking both! We should get a group together. One of my AP classmates is also taking them with me.

God bless you thank you so much! Do you know if you get your scores immediately after taking the HESI

Aimeyh2,

Yes, you get your scores immediately after you take your HESI

did they fail because they took them together???? I am enrolled to take them together in spring as well as medical terminology. Is this a bad idea?????????
