Ut Tyler nursing spring 2016

Is anyone applying for Spring 2016?

Hi, This means that you only applied to University of Texas at Tyler. This is the letter of acceptance into the university (some people apply to the school and don't get accepted). This is the first step. Your next step is to apply for the nursing program through NursingCAS. Somewhere in the application, you will be required to put in your student ID number from the acceptance letter you got from UT. On their website, it is written that acceptance to the school does not mean you have been accepted into the program. Go to NursingCAS.com and apply for the program and send your transcript/s. All the best.

i received an email with heading: ACCEPTANCE LETTER

AND IT READS,....You have been admitted to the Pre-Nursing program for the 2015 Fall semester at The University of Texas at Tyler, and that makes you an official Patriot. Welcome to the family......

can someone kindly explain what it is about?

Thnk you for the information

You're welcome

Hi Annette1988,

About how long after you applied did it take for you to get this email? Just curious...

Hi guys! I just submitted my nursingcas for the accelerated program. Quick question, where was the document upload slots for immunization on the accelerated application? I saw it on the tradition but not on the accelerated. Are we suppose to send or email it to someone?

Specializes in Certified Nursing Assistant.

I didn't see a spot for it, but from what I know that's turned in after acceptance? Does anyone know how long Nursing CAS takes to review the info? My program status has said they've received mine for almost 2 weeks now?

Mine took them another 2 weeks to finish processing the transcript . You should be on the lookout for their notification soon. In all, it takes them 4-6 weeks to complete both receiving and processing transcripts. It is stated on their website too. This is when they make your application available to the program you applied to. Hope this explanation helps..

Hi, there is no place to upload the immunization documents on the application. It will be turned in once you receive your acceptance letter. I have to call them to get this info.

Is the Absn program at Ut Tyler really 16 months I was reading on here some people said it's 20 months

Hi Arthur_lee, it depends on what you call it. Program starts January (spring) with 3 classes. Then Summer, Fall, Spring and the next summer. If you calculate that in months, that should be 18 months. The basic difference between the ABSN and traditional is the summer classes. ABSN is back to back but traditional is Spring ,Fall,Spring,Fall which is like 24 months (no summer classes). You can also check their website for the program schedule details.

Anybody heard anything? If you have any information, please let us know. From Oct 15th, I will start stalking my email including my spam folder. The people that started this spring heard from UT exactly on the 16th October. All the best everyone!!. I know some people are lurking around. Feel free to post. We are here to encourage each other.
