Has anyone heard when we are supposed to find out exactly? My advisor said the end of October! I hope it is sooner!

@aweaver0103 all I know is that they found out on October 16th last year, which was only 4 weeks after deadline! The information says 6-8 weeks after deadline, which would start at the end of October! Think they just got lucky finding out early last year! :) Oh, and what are you stats @aweaver0103? If you don't mind sharing!!

Oh wow! I hope we are that lucky! I have a 3.73 GPA and made a 86 on my reading and a 94 on my math! I sure hope that is enough

thanks emarie! as far as the concerns that y'all are having about not having a competitive gpa with your original degree, i remember Tammie telling me that the core curriculum has to be at least a 3.0 and that only the nursing pre-reqs have to be above the minimum 3.0 in order to improve chances of getting in, i had the same concerns as you all did since my gpa for my original degree was not that good, but it seems like they will put more weight on our pre-req grades and TEAS test results when considering admission, good luck to all! hopefully we'll get to meet in the spring

I do not want to believe that we will wait till October ending to hear anything. The people that started spring this year heard exactly on 16th Oct and since it is said they are taking half the number of what they took last time, it should be faster ( I mean like logically). I am basically sitting on needles and pin here and checking my emails including spam every few minutes. Please am I the only one feeling like this?.

@khan10 I agree, since they are accepting viewer hopefully we do find out sooner than later!! And I'm right there with you on checking my email constantly!!!! UT Tyler is my first choice! I'm ready for this in my life and although I will stay hopeful if I don't get in, I will be disappointed! Would anyone else be relocating to Tyler? Or do most of you guys live there?

I am in the same boat, very anxious!!! I would be relocating, I live in Austin right now! I've actually never even been to Tyler before lol

@anne2112 oh, awesome! I would be relocating from Fort Worth if all goes well!!! I went to Tyler for the first time for my advising appt two months ago! @aweaver0103 no haven't heard anything! But if you think it sounded like we may know soon, that's good news!! :)
