I am! And I'm somewhat in the same boat! I'm a Texas A&M graduate but I still have A&P 2 and development psych left to take in the fall.

Hi Zeebz, welcome to the forum. You don't have anything to worry about as far as you meet all requirements. Hopefully, we all get in. Best of luck.

Thank you for creating one @vicky10! Well, I recently finished my NursingCAS and all the little, last to-dos for the application process. This worries me, but honestly with this summer I've had, drowning in my class load and working, it's been tough. I hope it doesn't affect me too negatively :/

By the way, regarding the previous post about the remaining pre-reqs we're taking this fall, how does this work with the admissions office totaling up our points, GPA wise? For instance, if I'm planning on taking another class, in the same subject category as one I have previously taken but didn't do so well in. Acceptance is obviously before the fall semester ends and our completed grades come in?

I honestly have no idea how they compute the points. I believe you can get the answers when you put a call to the advisor. I could only remember her saying that it is just the TEAS score and GPA they will look at for ABSN applicants. However, I don't know if they will factor in classes we haven't taken yet or ''replacing of grades'' like you said. Maybe they will use the lowest grade possible which is a ''C'' to see where we stand for classes still in progress and work with that. I honestly do not know. I might have to call and find out.

You should because I'm trying to calculate mine to give myself an idea of where I may stand and it would help so much! Also, don't feel too bad about your TEAS score. I also received a 71.4 on the reading (the time-limit made it harder than I expected), and 93.3 for math.

Thank you for your encouragement; I appreciate. I was told 71.4 is automatically a 72. It makes me feel comforted. Like you, time management was my greatest challenge in Reading. What template are you using for the calculation? I saw something a member posted in an older post but don't know if it is same with what you are using.

Awesome and of course! Well, I've been referencing to GPA calculators and using their point sheet for admissions, using my grades I have so far, as well as an average between grades of repeated classes, to get a range of where I fall GPA wise now. I am not including the classes I have left to take. I rather set the bar lower, so I know where it is I stand if worse comes to worse. I also calculated a "foreshadow" GPA including the classes I will be taking in the Fall with my estimated goal grades for an estimation of where I may stand in December.

i received an email with heading: ACCEPTANCE LETTER

AND IT READS,....You have been admitted to the Pre-Nursing program for the 2015 Fall semester at The University of Texas at Tyler, and that makes you an official Patriot. Welcome to the family......

can someone kindly explain what it is about?
