UT Tyler Fall 2014

Hello everyone! I wanted to make a thread for those applying to UT Tyler's nursing program for the fall of 2014. If you have any insight on what is competitive, or any thoughts you would like to share.. please post! I'd like to hear from others applying! Thanks :)

Please post as soon as you find out, everyone! I'm super paranoid that the emails will go out and I won't get one and be left in the constant state of unknown!

I have 78 points and have attended u of h and San jac community college. I applied for the main campus and Palestine campus is my second choice. I'm not feeling very confident, but I guess I'll find out very soon!

I think you have a good chance with 78! Yes we shall!!! And you may be better off than u think! Im guessing friday evening is when we will Find out :-(

Is anyone else freaking out waiting right now or is it just me? I have 75 points and I am a transfer so does anyone know if this is competitive or not? The nursing advisor told me 70 or better is competitive but I'm still so nervous though!

Yeah, I've pretty much been losing my mind for a month now! I can't stop checking my email!

I have no idea what to think! I was told I had a good chance at getting into UTMB and got denied!

Hi everyone!!! I've been stalking this thread since it started and finally got the courage to create an account :) I applied to the main campus (tyler) and longview as my second choice. I am also a transfer and I have 88 points I'm so nervous and anxious to find out whether or not I got accepted. The suspense is killing me!!! I hope to find out this week!! Eeeee!!!! Oh wow, 88 points is quite a bit! I'm sure you'll get accepted! What were your TEAS scores, if you don't mind me asking?

Aw thank you!! I hope so!!! @caseyhelge my teas score was not so great. I got an 80 on the math portion and a 85 on the reading section. The only thing that worries me that I am a transfer student and I heard they look at the tyler freshman first and that a tyler student can be accepted with lower points than me. But I'm staying hopeful!!! :)
