  1. I got the acceptance letter today via email. There is a lot of paperwork and finding documents that needs to be done. It's a little confusing at first. There is a checklist in the papers, I combined that with a checklist of my own to make sure it all gets done on time. Good luck to all of you.
  2. Am I the only Longview person on here waiting to hear something?
  3. It's always fun to be in the last group waiting to see if you got in. Maybe Longview people will find out on Monday.
  4. I applied to Longview and I have yet to get an email. I expect it to come later this week. I am sure everyone is eager for this to be over, especially the people at the college. I can only imagine the number of calls and emails they have received so far asking about acceptance. I would hate to be in their shoes. lol
  5. lol maybe next week, unless someone got something today that I dont know about yet.
  6. Maybe we will get emails tomorrow? It should be a fun day.
  7. Hopefully today is the day!!??!!
  8. pathophysiology and nursing concepts need to be taken this summer if you plan on starting the program in the fall. I have already enrolled. You have to get permission numbers from your adviser before you can enroll. I got the impression that the classes could fill before the end of summer enrollment. Good luck to everyone.
  9. ]"When will I hear back from the college of nursing regarding my application?" ]"Usually within six-seven weeks after the application deadline via the email written on your application." So we looking at somewhere around he week of the 29th or the 1st before we hear anything.
  10. @ladeeda - as far as the point system goes the only thing counted from the TEAS is the math and reading. However, If I were the one sorting through apps and I had two people that were close on points and needed a tie breaker, I would use all the info available to me. Including the overall scores. "64% math score is required to be considered for admission." This is quoted from the UT Tyler website. In your case, I would contact the pre-adviser at the campus you are applying for and get the answer you are looking for.
  11. When I spoke with the adviser at the Longview campus she said that competitiveness depends on the apps they get. Sometimes 72 points is the average and sometimes 78 points is the average. I am at 73.46 but I am finishing my prereq’s and graduating from NTCC this semester. I believe I will be taking Concepts and Patho this summer. The application deadline is quickly approaching and I expect this popularity of this thread to really take off. If the future posters wouldn't mind, please include your points and what campus you are applying for.
