UT Houston 2011 summer accelerated program

Hey guys,

Just wanted to reach out to those applying for the summer 2011 semester. Does anybody know when we should be expecting interview letters?

Not that I know of. I think it's pretty important...

Yes, I believe it is a requirement stated in th application check list.

carbon 13, yes i need a roommate! i know the prices are pretty high in the area and was gonna get a one bedroom or see if i could sublease for the summer until i got to know the area. i too will be applying for any loan available. did anyone receive the letter in the mail yet?

Anyone get a packet in the mail yet? I figure we will need to start getting the CPR, immunizations, etc, etc tackled pretty quickly since we start in May?

I bet we get them early next week. I think there are some Houston area hospitals who do the CPR course for free. You just have to find them.

I did mine through the Junior League of Houston...it's offered free at a few different churches...I did the one at St. Lukes Methodist and it was two consecutive Wednesday nights 6-9pm.

Has anybody else heard anything from UT? It seems to have gotten awful quiet regarding acceptances. I'm starting to get nervous I saw that the fall applicants had already begun to receive rejection letters. I'm still holding out hope though. My stats are science gpa 4.0, prereq gpa 3.6, Hesi 95%, I was hoping that would be enough to get me at least waitlisted for the fall but I'm not so sure now. At this point I just want to know either way. The suspense is killing me! Oh and congrats to everybody who has gotten accepted:)

It has gotten quiet...still no packet in the mail:-( I'm ready to get it already!! Don't give up feistyaggie, your stats are great, I'm sure they will doing updates all week. Good luck everyone.

Is anyone planning on starting a Facebook group for our class? Or is it too soon? I know I read in past threads where they had started one for each graduating class.

I haven't gotten a packet yet either.

I think a facebook page is a great idea.

I look forward to meeting everyone! I don't think it will seem real until I get the packet in the mail!!! Good luck to everyone that hasn't heard yet. :nurse:
