UT Houston 2011 summer accelerated program

Hey guys,

Just wanted to reach out to those applying for the summer 2011 semester. Does anybody know when we should be expecting interview letters?

No packet yet! I keep checking the mail everyday!

I did too! Does anyone else feel overwhelmed about the parking situation? I am not familiar with the area, so I have no idea what the best thing to do about parking is.

Can anybody suggest other places to take the CPR class?.... I looked at the link that gpack1004 posted but all classes are full for the month of March.

Brandi- I am currently a first semester SON student and a majority of us park in Garage 17. You can go through the transportation website and fill out a contract parking application. You can pay for the semester or month by month. I don't know how it may vary for the summer semester - I need to look into it as well! If you pay to park it will add up....lots of people take the light rail as well. But garage 17 has been perfect, especially if you end up having your clinical in the med center as well!

Pakann: thank you so much for the tip! I will look in to garage 17. I am commuting from College Station, so everylittle bit will add up! Anyway I can streamline or reduce costs the better!

If you haven't taken CPR previously, I suggest you pay more money and take a longer version of the course.

I don't want anybody planning based on what I say, but an email I received today said letters will be mailed in "2-3 weeks". My only point in making this post is to say don't stress over not receiving a letter in the mail yet. Go by what you see in UTLINK.

Hi, all

According to the office letters were sent out on Monday. We should receive soon. Also, I dropped of my letter of intent and was informed that a $50 payment is due. Just wanted to give you all a heads up.
