hi there, I'm a spring 2010 UT houston hopefull, I'm trying to see who else is embarking on this journey so we can support each other. I really enjoyed tracking the Fall 2009 class, and I hope we can do the same. I still have a few classes to take. I am currently taking chemistry. As of now my science GPA is 3.33, and overall gpa is 3.61. I am taking the net in May.
Can't wait to hear from others.
was there anything we needed to sign stating we would accept their acceptance? like how TWU required us to fill out a sheet by a deadline checking accept or decline. I just wanted to make sure i didn't miss out on anything. i haven't received the packet yet either like everyone else.
I emailed them to ask about this issue and the reply email stated the packet will contain whatever we need to accept/decline our spot.
thanks!! i think i'm going to go pick my mail up tomorrow, i can't wait until next week!i don't know why i still check this thread, everyone has moved on to facebook.. lol

Hi,
I am new to this message board. I have applied to UT generic BSN and I am still finishing my pre-requisites. I would like to have a better idea of how intense the program is. How many hours or days do you spend on campus? How many hours of studying do I need to plan per day? Thank you.

we currently have classes Mon 8-12 + lab, Tues- 8-12 some days until 4, Thurs 8-4, For the first 2 months you will also have lab on Fridays for roughly 2-3 hours. I'll be honest and say that this will probably be the busiest you have ever been. It's 16 hours but there can be up to a thousand pages of reading needed for a test at times. No, I don't read everything, but we are still responsible for the material. I feel bad for those that have families and even more for those that have to work to support them. I don't know how they do it. Oh, when Friday labs are over, then we start clinicals which includes 7 shifts on the hospital that requires a 25pg writeup, roughly. I hope that helps
