Hey all,
Just wanted to hear who else on the board is applying for Fall 2007. I've sent everything in and just took the NET test last Saturday. Now the waiting game begins!

congratulations to all that made it into ut fall 2007!!! i am so glad to see that everyone on this thread made it in. out of the 1300 applications for both the bsn generic and bsn acc you are part of the 170 students selected. you should all be very proud of yourselves!!!
to those who did not get accepted, please do not feel discouraged. continue to complete your pre-reqs as you would have done if you were accepted. even if you are not accepted initially, there are students that are in the same situation as lene is deciding between schools and will not chose to come to ut. that will leave an opening and possibly you will be accepted at that time. i can honestly say that i know at least 10 people in my class right now that got accepted the week before class started.
as far as parking goes, there is no school parking. students park at the brown lot and ride the white shuttle to school($2-$6), park on the street in front of university housing and take the ut shuttle (not safe but free), or just take the bus from their home or any park and ride and ride the metrorail to fannin and pressler and walk from there. there are a few students that park in the tmc garages but that can cost $10 or more per day. carpooling is also another big option for students.
once again congratulations guys. good luck to all of you. let me know if you have any questions. :welcome:

great post! this is true. this was my second attempt at getting in to ut and this time i was admitted. right now, i'm in the first semester of an adn program (i accepted this after ut denied admittance the first time) and i'm goint to finish this semester and hope ut will give me some credit for it (did my first cath last night ). either way, i will not graduate as quickly as i would if i stay in the adn program; however, i feel it will be worth it. i rather just delay graduation and get it all done at once because i'm scared once i start working, i'll have a hard time getting myself to go back. good luck to everyone. :balloons:
Rocky,
I have been checking my UTlink account everyday and so far I still see the words, "...status still pending waiting for admissions committee...".
does this mean that I have not been accepted to the Generic BSN program? I really want to be in the program. I just wish they could tell me whether or not I got in!!
Congratulations to all of you who got accepted, my wishes goes out to you=)
Hey folks!
I had totally given up hope as well. But, mine just changed yesterday to "you have been granted provisional admission!!!'
I had already mourned the loss of not getting in, so this was seriously a shock. I just kept reading the words over and over again.
So, the moral of the story is, don't give up hope!!!
See you folks in August!
Paige
Haha I may be the baby of the group...I'm only 19. BUT I'll be 20 by the time I start the program loland yah that's a good question...are we longhorns? haha oh well doesn't matter to me, we're still in the UT family!
haha Lene-- You and I might both be the babies. I'm 19 also. I don't turn 20 until July.

Hi opera. Rocky wrote posts on page 6 and 7 saying that "You have been granted provisional admission" means you are accepted and what provisional means. Check it out. Hope that helps
