Yes, it is extremely early to begin talking about the Spring 2018 class, however, I thought it would be nice if we could all get together here and go through our pre-req/application/acceptance journey. It would be fun to lend support, chronicle our stresses and excitements and see how everything unfolds for us from now until the first day of class (assuming we get accepted).
I'll start:
I'm taking my pre-reqs at Lonestar (10 hrs for Spring, 14 hrs for Summer). I plan to take 18 hrs for Fall and will be testing out of 15 hrs via CLEP. I work PRN in a Critical Care unit at a major hospital. I will be taking the HESI in May; once Spring semester ends. Lastly, I have high hopes to be accepted into the Honors program once I am eligible to apply, since I have a deep interest in research.
I hope to hear from some of you! The application deadline is September 1 and there is a webinar info session at 10am tomorrow.

Thanks! I will definitely keep TWU in mind depending on what happens with this application. I'm open to pretty much anywhere at this point, and I know there are plenty of other great schools out there as well :)
I have already accepted a position at TWU. Being on the waitlist and unsure about my future would stress me out
Plus I have some outstanding classes I would have to take last minute if I were to attend UTH
Hi I am just curious. If you got to choose between TWU and UTH which one would you choose and why? I got into both, but I am currently stress cramming some courses for UTH and beginning to wonder what school would really be best for me. Congrats on your TWU acceptance!

I would still probably choose TWU because I am in no rush, I don't have many responsibilities in life besides taking care of myself. Summers off give you time to get an internship/externship and earn some extra cash to help pay for tuition. I also like that the clinical rotations are more spread out than UTH.
I think you really can't go wrong with either school though. Both will get you where you want to be if you are hard working.

Unfortunately you are correct. I am not saying give up all hope, but I've been denied twice before and this is the same order notifications went out before. I am expecting a denial email either today or the first part of next week.
