Yes, it is extremely early to begin talking about the Spring 2018 class, however, I thought it would be nice if we could all get together here and go through our pre-req/application/acceptance journey. It would be fun to lend support, chronicle our stresses and excitements and see how everything unfolds for us from now until the first day of class (assuming we get accepted).
I'll start:
I'm taking my pre-reqs at Lonestar (10 hrs for Spring, 14 hrs for Summer). I plan to take 18 hrs for Fall and will be testing out of 15 hrs via CLEP. I work PRN in a Critical Care unit at a major hospital. I will be taking the HESI in May; once Spring semester ends. Lastly, I have high hopes to be accepted into the Honors program once I am eligible to apply, since I have a deep interest in research.
I hope to hear from some of you! The application deadline is September 1 and there is a webinar info session at 10am tomorrow.
My to do list has "complete" next to everything except for my two transcripts for universities I am still taking classes at. However, all of them say "overdue." I am not sure what's up with my account.
Wow so many applicants yet they only take around 120! Good luck to everyone. Hoping we hear something soon. If anyone gets accepted please post it so we know the acceptances emails are coming! Fingers crossed we all get accepted :)
So I am one of the people who have a hold on my account and so i called and the lady who answered (she was very nice btw) said she has no idea why my account has an hold. She said she will give my phone number to someone else, who may can help me but I usually never get a call back when that happens haha.
Our conversation basically went like this:
Her: Have you been accepted?
Me: No
Her: -checks my application and everything- I have no idea why your account has an hold then, this is strange. I'll give your number to someone else and they'll call you back
Anyway, I am assuming acceptances are going to be handed out very soon since she asked me that. Anyone know why I might have an hold??(my transcript evaluation showed they have all my transcripts and my Hesi was taken under their code)

I was told it was simply a reminder that I needed to send my in-progress transcripts to the university...why they would put that hold on there when I haven't been accepted I'm not sure, but here's to hoping it means I have been accepted and they just haven't told me yet lol!!

I was also hoping the same thing, a person can only dream haha. Thank you! That makes sense. Hopefully that is the same case as mine since I am also taking classes. What number did you call?
