Yes, it is extremely early to begin talking about the Spring 2018 class, however, I thought it would be nice if we could all get together here and go through our pre-req/application/acceptance journey. It would be fun to lend support, chronicle our stresses and excitements and see how everything unfolds for us from now until the first day of class (assuming we get accepted).
I'll start:
I'm taking my pre-reqs at Lonestar (10 hrs for Spring, 14 hrs for Summer). I plan to take 18 hrs for Fall and will be testing out of 15 hrs via CLEP. I work PRN in a Critical Care unit at a major hospital. I will be taking the HESI in May; once Spring semester ends. Lastly, I have high hopes to be accepted into the Honors program once I am eligible to apply, since I have a deep interest in research.
I hope to hear from some of you! The application deadline is September 1 and there is a webinar info session at 10am tomorrow.
Ok, my To Do list just changed again (2nd time today) and my HESI (completed) disappeared. Seriously, I'm betting it's slow in IT at UT today and those trolls are reading our feed and changing our stuff to make us CRAZY!!! I really need to get off of the interwebs if I am to stay sane today. Between UT and the Astro's I might just have a MI before I even get into school!

My todo list has also changed and been narrowed down to just a transcript in the status of 'initiated' (because I am currently taking classes). I'm not sure if this means anything or if it's just a case of UTH's IT department trolling us like someone previously mentioned. Either way anticipation is building and I am an anxious wreck. I feel like we're going to hear about the first round of acceptances sometime next week. I'm dying to be put out of my misery.
Am I the only one who keeps refreshing this page hoping someone would say they just got accepted? My todo list has completely disappeared and the only thing indicating that I applied shows " Application under review". I did not get an evaluation yet from UT Health but the one I got from PVAMU says I have a supporting area GPA of 3.65, HESI 92% and even though I don't know how UT Health does theirs I'm assuming it's about the same thing. While we wait we could motivate ourselves with our stats. For those who already have their evaluations what are your stats?? I hope you don't mind sharing...
My "To Do List" has also disappeared and just shows Application under Review. I keep checking in case something changes but now I doubt it will since it'll be the weekend! And yes I keep checking on here to see if anyone has received any news, the anticipation is too much lol ... Well my Stats are 3.8 overall GPA , 93% overall on the HESI & my Science GPA I have no clue, but I've only received 1 B and that was in Chemistry.
Me too. I went from 2 transcripts and HESI to one and HESI. It's initiated not complete, so I guess that's why.
Mine changed too! I went from having multiple items on my to-do list (even though they said complete) to it now showing no holds and no items on my to-do list. I'm thinking this means we will be hearing back soon!! 🤞
