Yes, it is extremely early to begin talking about the Spring 2018 class, however, I thought it would be nice if we could all get together here and go through our pre-req/application/acceptance journey. It would be fun to lend support, chronicle our stresses and excitements and see how everything unfolds for us from now until the first day of class (assuming we get accepted).
I'll start:
I'm taking my pre-reqs at Lonestar (10 hrs for Spring, 14 hrs for Summer). I plan to take 18 hrs for Fall and will be testing out of 15 hrs via CLEP. I work PRN in a Critical Care unit at a major hospital. I will be taking the HESI in May; once Spring semester ends. Lastly, I have high hopes to be accepted into the Honors program once I am eligible to apply, since I have a deep interest in research.
I hope to hear from some of you! The application deadline is September 1 and there is a webinar info session at 10am tomorrow.
God bless.
When I went to the information session and the campus tour, November 15th is actually a deadline for them to let everyone know their status.Did you receive it through mail or email! I know that not everyone receives one & on the last forum I read some people who were accepted never received one. Ugh, the anticipation is killing me . I wonder when they will start sending out acceptances?
I did a few days ago! Does anyone know what the point of it is? Is it just to let us know they've received everything?
Just wondering here, all they gave you was an evaluation? When I got an evaluation last year for the Summer session they also told me what disqualified me from getting accepted.

When I received my course eval previously it was sent to me in the mail
Also, at UTH we receive the same amount of information in the same amount of time. All of the programs are over 4 semesters. The only difference is that instead of taking a summer break, UTH continues through the summer, so that is going to be where you get the more rigorous time reduction. But ever other semester is the same speed as everywhere else. In my opinion, I'm glad I'm at UTH even though the summer will be hard, but I am done faster. And I don't know anything about TWU but as far as UTH goes: your first semester (the one I'm in now) is all about getting a foundation of knowledge, especially pathophysiology. The patho teacher for our school is the best, most informative teacher I have ever had ever. I would just be sure to do your research.
