Yes, it is extremely early to begin talking about the Spring 2018 class, however, I thought it would be nice if we could all get together here and go through our pre-req/application/acceptance journey. It would be fun to lend support, chronicle our stresses and excitements and see how everything unfolds for us from now until the first day of class (assuming we get accepted).
I'll start:
I'm taking my pre-reqs at Lonestar (10 hrs for Spring, 14 hrs for Summer). I plan to take 18 hrs for Fall and will be testing out of 15 hrs via CLEP. I work PRN in a Critical Care unit at a major hospital. I will be taking the HESI in May; once Spring semester ends. Lastly, I have high hopes to be accepted into the Honors program once I am eligible to apply, since I have a deep interest in research.
I hope to hear from some of you! The application deadline is September 1 and there is a webinar info session at 10am tomorrow.

I also posted this on the other UTH forum: For those of you who attended the most recent webinar, do you recall the date they mentioned for us to expect to hear back? For some reason, Oct 15 keeps lingering in my mind, but I doubt that's the correct date since the website says Nov 15. I tried calling in today, but it went to voicemail.
Follow menu pathway: Tasks> To do list items> communication center> and under communications you can see what the registrar has done. You can also see the history of previous applications. For example I applied back in January 2017 for the Summer 2018 session. It says I applied on the 11th of Jan, Registrar acknowledged my application the same day, verified I had everything on checklist then updated in portal on the 12th, registrar sent decision email on march 20th... So it took them 9 weeks to send the snail mail. I remember getting the transcript eval about 2-3 weeks of submitting my application.

Since I can remember it's always been November 15th, deadline for them to let us know. Maybe it has changed since application dead line was also extended to 15th of September....?
I think October 15 may not be the day we hear back but it's close to it. Like I said before I've gone through the other forums and they heard back way before Nov 15. I think that's the last round of denials they sent.
I submitted my application a few months ago. It was back in May. I had went to the information session in September and Christina had talked about receiving a transcript evaluation 2-4 weeks after applying.... I was soo confused. I went home that day and emailed her. She didn't reply. 1-2 weeks later...voila...it was sent in the mail. However, I had called the school before the info session and a lady told me not everyone receives an evaluation

Did it say that specifically on your eval? Like that the hesi score is why someone wouldn't get accepted?
