JADN May 2, 2017 That's great! Where those really heavy?I took patho at TWU...horrible teacher! I have heard great things about Urban and Hughes at UTA though. Yes, the material is heavy but doable. I suggest taking patho first because it will help you in pharm. 0 Likes

SunshineNRainbows, BSN, RN May 3, 2017 Well, Dallas has more available spots, but I saw many people both partnered and not with much higher GPA's not accepted to the program. It may help if you take the pre-requisites (Patho and Pharm) prior to applying and have them completed with high grades. 0 Likes

amcjhc May 17, 2017 I would love to be added to the group. I just completed my application process yesterday hoping to get into the Spring 18 Online BSN. My email is watkinsamy@hotmail.com. I have a prior BS in Applied Behavior Analysis. I put on my application that I would be willing to do clinicals in Dallas and surrounding cities, but after reading all of the posts I'm wondering if it would help my chances for admittance if I restate that I would prefer Dallas and surrounding cities, but would be willing to go to Ft. Worth as well if necessary? What are y'alls thoughts on that?I am taking Patho and Pharm in the fall, otherwise I'm done for now. Looking forward to the class break this summer before I hopefully start in the spring! 0 Likes
LilMissAngi May 24, 2017 Hi All! I will be applying to the AO BSN program once I finish the pre reqs. I am taking technical writing this summer and a&p2 and micro this fall, separately of course, each are an 8 week course. I still have another literature to takeand then the 3 pre nursings to take. I won't get all that done to apply for spring 2018, so I am hoping to apply for fall 2018. I still need to take the HESI. I haven't taken any classes at UTA yet. Technical writing is my first and online.I did all my others at a Dallas Community College. I really wanted to go to TWU but UTA seems to fit my schedule better.I work full-time (currently) and have 2 kids. 0 Likes
