Eleven, ADN, RN Has 4 years experience. Mar 13, 2017 They emailed this morning to say 40+ seats had been opened in A&P 2, in case anyone else is trying to register. And I finally registered for the HESI, I'm going to take it April 8. Anyone else? 0 Likes
TheAmazon84 Mar 14, 2017 I took medical terminology at TWU when I got my BS in Health Studies. I just checked my degree plan evaluation and they took my chemistry class. I just registered for Intro to nursing and Technical writing. Once that's done the only pre-reqs I'll have left are patho/pharm. 0 Likes

weatherman1214 Mar 22, 2017 Good evening, Linda, please add me to the group. My email is daniel.martinez@outlook.com. I look forward to catching up on here regularly. Currently I'm at UT Arlington taking pre-reqs. I'm currently in Technical Writing (ends next week) and I'm enrolled in the April class for Intro to Nursing. Anybody have tips/advice for Intro to Nursing? ALSO! Big question. A friend in the cohort ahead of us said that the instructors told his class that while they're doing clinicals on the weekend, Spring 2018 is supposedly in the works for Monday/Tuesday??? Does anybody know more about this possibility? Im calling my advisor tomorrow to ask. If I find out more I'll post back. Otherwise, I just found out about this possibility late today. weatherman1214 Mar 22, 2017 Hi Adelam! You say say that you just finished Intro to Nursing? I'm starting that class in the eight week version next month. Any advice/tips? 0 Likes
Eleven, ADN, RN Has 4 years experience. Mar 22, 2017 I am taking mine the 23rd. This Thursday!!! I am really nervous.YAY! how exciting! I can't wait to hear how you did.Hi Adelam! You say say that you just finished Intro to Nursing? I'm starting that class in the eight week version next month. Any advice/tips?It's really not a big deal at all as long as you do your reading and watch any video clips she has on the topic. Make sure to focus on the learning objectives (They will be listed on blackboard each week) and stay on top of your due dates. I had an A the whole time until I turned in a discussion assignment late, instant 50% off and took me down to an 89. It's a very cool class though, you learn a lot about the history of nursing, and kind of an overview on different topics you will learn in depth in nursing school.
