They emailed this morning to say 40+ seats had been opened in A&P 2, in case anyone else is trying to register. And I finally registered for the HESI, I'm going to take it April 8. Anyone else?

I took medical terminology at TWU when I got my BS in Health Studies. I just checked my degree plan evaluation and they took my chemistry class. I just registered for Intro to nursing and Technical writing. Once that's done the only pre-reqs I'll have left are patho/pharm.

Hey I'll be starting intro to nursing and technical writing April 10th is there anyone on here starting the exact same time?

I am taking mine the 23rd. This Thursday!!! I am really nervous.

Good evening,

Linda, please add me to the group. My email is daniel.martinez@outlook.com. I look forward to catching up on here regularly.

Currently I'm at UT Arlington taking pre-reqs. I'm currently in Technical Writing (ends next week) and I'm enrolled in the April class for Intro to Nursing.

Anybody have tips/advice for Intro to Nursing?

ALSO! Big question. A friend in the cohort ahead of us said that the instructors told his class that while they're doing clinicals on the weekend, Spring 2018 is supposedly in the works for Monday/Tuesday??? Does anybody know more about this possibility?

Im calling my advisor tomorrow to ask. If I find out more I'll post back. Otherwise, I just found out about this possibility late today.

Daniel

We should be in the Intro to Nursing together. Finishing Technical Writing right now.

Hi Adelam!

You say say that you just finished Intro to Nursing? I'm starting that class in the eight week version next month. Any advice/tips?

It's really not a big deal at all as long as you do your reading and watch any video clips she has on the topic. Make sure to focus on the learning objectives (They will be listed on blackboard each week) and stay on top of your due dates. I had an A the whole time until I turned in a discussion assignment late, instant 50% off and took me down to an 89. It's a very cool class though, you learn a lot about the history of nursing, and kind of an overview on different topics you will learn in depth in nursing school.

Hello is anyone starting intro to nursing or technical writing on April 10th?

I completed my HESI. My overall score was a 90.5. I hope that's competitive enough.

You are good@ ItsThatJenGirl . HESI is pass/fail only. Need a min of 75% in each section to pass.

acceptance into what exactly?

Getting ready to apply for Spring 2017. Good luck to everyone. Will be taking intro and upper elective during summer. Patho and Pharm during fall.

Does anybody know if working PRN for either JPS or Children's cook will be considered in our application. Or does it need to be full time?

Could you please add me grdzma@gmail.com
