Hey everyone! Hope everyone is doing great! A little bit about myself, I have a bachelors in business management, and a masters in health informatics and I decided to get my BSN because I want to work as an informatics nurse. currently working as a consultant in healthcare and my passion is computers and in other for me to break into the field I had to go back to school to get my BSN.
So I thought of an idea! I would love for us to work together and ride this program out as well as finish strong! So far I have a 4.0 in science classes

Hi! I'm hoping to finish my prerequisites this year and apply for BSN program for '18. I'm just waiting on my advisor to get my degree plan loaded and getting nervous that she won't have it done in time! I've got about ten more classes to do. Glad to have found people in the same situation to go through this whole process with!

Hi Carla. How many prereqs do you have left? I've got to do the four sciences, math and statistics, the intro nursing, lifespan psych and something else I've forgotten about by now! We will get there!
Is it worth it to apply even with low grades and unfinished prerequisites? I have a few classes to repeat and take. Also, is TCC approved for the nursing course?
Hey Carlasantos are you doing 4 eight week courses at a time or 4 total for the spring? I'm doing 2 at a time and wondering how terrible 3 would be or if they even allow it!
Hey only look at the pre reqs for the nursing program, if they are bad grades and not required I'd say you'd be fine!! Call and talk to an advisor, they're very honest as far as how all that goes!!
For me, I'm doing two at a time. In the first email the advisor sent, there was a chart of different course load suggestions. I'm doing intro to nursing and an 8 week, then two 8 weeks together. I'm kind of nervous for how the workload will be!
I'm applying to the Bsn program at university of Arlington Texas. I have a GPA of 2.3 overall. My degree is in psychology....I have a couple of withdrawals and retakes. Do you think I get in? If I get accepted. I would have to take the pre requisites first...do you think if I get good grades in the pre reqs I can get in the program?
I opened a topic for my question but have gotten no response. For those who have a bs in something else, were you able to register for the online anatomy and physiology courses offered at UTA? I was told my a recruiter that we could. It take those courses. Is this true???
Hi! sorry for the late reply. I still need to take 14 to 15 after this semester. I still have a lot of subjects to take, I don't know if I can finish it this year. This set i'll be taking math, english 1, intro to psych and intro to prof nursing.Good Luck again,Eleven! :)
