USF MSN-CNL, Orange County, non-nurse Fall 2017

Published

Hi fellow soon-to-be-hopefully nurses! I recently applied to USF's MSN-CNL for non-nurses. I am ecstatic about this program! Any fellow applicants in the anxiously waiting boat?!?

Hello everyone!

I spoke with someone today and she said that 6/19 Monday decisions will be finalized. From 6/20 mails will be sent out.

The cohort size for this year will be 26 students. They will be holding a waiting list till the first day of school.

Good luck everyone!

Just curious if anyone has noticed their status change on their portal or anything?

Haven't checked yet!

Mine still says "Submitted - Application complete - to be reviewed after deadline".

Mine also still says the same thing!

Apparently the letters are being sent out starting today...I would think they would update the status on the portal, too!

Last year accepted people didn't get portal status changes until after their phone calls if I remember correctly based on the forum.

So we are getting phone calls this time around? Only if we're accepted?

Same! No emails or anything. Do they start calling today as well?

Yeah. Only calls if you're accepted. Emails if you're rejected and I forgot what they do if you're on the waitlist...

But now I'm confused. Look at @MeesHa's post from June 8th I think...she didn't get a call and she was accepted.....?

@_nursebee that is how it works for the SF campus, idk if it is the same for OC. I think if you are waitlisted your portal stays the same and then you get a letter in the mail.
