Hi all! So sorry, my work has been incredibly busy and I have been MIA on the feeds. Nope, have not heard anything here in regards to interviews or schools. Also applied to Concordia, but I do not believe we hear about interviews until July. I do know that I did not receive that mass email update from MSMU so I emailed Agasia asking if I was not longer in the running. She stated that they switched systems and there were many students who didn't receive the mass email and that I was still in the Fall 2017 applicant pool. I do think it would be odd if no one on the forum receives an interview but who knows. The waiting is definitely tough. I am trying to stay busy with work and other applications in the meantime to not get hung up if I am not accepted this round. Though I am hoping more than anything I will be.

Well... that relieves a little of the waiting anxiety. No email is coming today so I can stop obsessively checking my email for at least today :)

Hi all! I am applying for Fall 2017 as well. I submitted the application already and sending transcripts-personal statement-last recommendation-payment package by the end of this week! I am not Lutheran either but have always attended religious affiliated universities. I like them. They tend to be community driven and with nursing I think spirituality and religion play such a paramount role with the patient population that a nursing program with a religious affiliation is ideal!

Congrats on the Math Exam success!!! Mine, not as well as the almost 100 BUT not terrible AND Agasia reiterated that the test doesn't alter admissions... fingers crossed. I have been in social work for the past 10+ years so my math is definitely rusty. I definitely am aware I need to brush up for the field! That being said I am hoping they will look at my work commitment towards healthcare and know that I am capable of learning all skill-sets needed!! What can you do- Moving forward, My undergrad was 2.96 in clinical psych like 10+ years ago! Prereq GPA around a 3.5 Work Experience: Currently a care navigator for complex care patients with a primary care office. Previous work as a full spectrum doula and rape crisis advocate in NYC. I have a some experience with dialysis, was a case manager in a few different arenas, studied global health with Mt Sinai in NYC... I definitely do not have the hands on EMT experience like you all but so excited/eager to learn!!

MSMU, USF- Orange, Concordia Irvine and Azusa! These are my top 4, I will be applying to more as well, but I am cautiously optimistic something positive will come from this round :) I have been working towards this career change since July 2014. This application period is surreal and also nerve wrecking. I am so dying to get started!

Yay to everyone! I hear we hear back mid-June but I think it all depends on the applicant pool. And yes, with no milestones in the application process these days move slowly...

Hi! I sure did and Math test is TOMORROW! Gotta love fractions... In this competitive nursing state, my goal is to get in and get started! I really cannot wait. Each day I think, alright, working towards the goal, working towards the goal... :)
