Thank you, is there a requirement for how long that residency is?

Hi all, I am a nursing student in Ohio (originally from California) and have been considering obtaining a compact license. I know Ohio and California are non-compact states, but what would be the process as a new grad to be licensed in a compact state? Thanks in advance!

I'm from California too :) Still waiting for a decision, but I was told it will take 2-4 weeks. Fingers crossed for good news!

Oh I see. I saw the NursingCAS application then when I checked the website for more info, I saw the note about sending transcripts to the school. They must be transitioning?

Thank goodness! I already sent them to NursingCAS, but I had another set sent to the school too

Gotcha! Hopefully more people find the thread! I just reconnected with one of my mentors and forgot she had also graduated from SLU's nursing program! I'm a bit confused about what they want for the transcript submission though because NursingCAS says to download a transcript request form to send to schools you've attended, but the website says to send them directly to the school?

Nice! Yeah it seems like an amazing school! I applied to a couple ABSN programs and got accepted to one, but ideally I'd like to do an MSN program. Where are you flying in from?

Awesome! That's great that they're prompt with their decision. I'm in the same boat because some schools I applied to months ago and still haven't heard back either haha
