Hello everyone. I was searching for a thread but could not find one so I am starting this discussion topic for USF MSN non nurse spring 2018 applications.
Lets all discuss our stats like GPA, volunteer experience, etc. I have a decent prerequisite GPA right now. I have registered for Micro and psychology and will be taking in fall. My undertgrad GPA is 3.15 in computer applications (not that good). After working in customer service I was no longer interested in computers so decided to change my major.
Lets start this journey together and good luck to everyone.
They said late October or early November so this week is the earliest we should expect decisions. Last spring, a majority of the people found out the last Friday of October which is TOMORROW for us! I wonder if OC applicants find out the same time as the main campus applicants. I'm assuming we do since the main campus does admissions for both but does anyone know?
I might call them today just to appease my anxiety...
Yes, please keep us updated!! Hoping both campuses announce around the same time. I'm also checking my mailbox every day to make sure. No updates on the submission status unlike previous cycles is killing me!

What does your status say? Mine just says: "Submitted" but it's been like that ever since I submitted it in September.
I know in the past it said: "To be reviewed after deadline" and then it changed to "Submitted" towards the end of October for some people.
Same here nothing has changed since I submitted in September... But someone who previously posted and applied for Spring 2017 said they got waitlisted with no status change at all either. They only got a letter in the mail. OP also mentioned that this cycle seems a lot different from previous ones. I'm guessing all we can do is wait until tomorrow or next week!

So I called USF just a minute ago. They gave me the same reply that we will start hearing from the beginning of November by email or by mail. This time I did ask her if they are going to call the students who get acceptance. Her reply " not that I am aware of."
I forgot to mention that she did ask me if I applied for the September 1st deadline. So OC applicants might have a different decision date as their deadline was September 15 but I am not fully sure. I forgot to ask about the OC decisions

No worries! At least now I know we will also receive emails for acceptance since I thought that was standard practice for only rejections based on past forums?.......Thank you for the update mangos526 I'm loving the team effort everyone is putting towards keeping every one informed. You guys rock!
